President Martelly names a support committee for the National Carnival in Les Cayes: Following a meeting at the National Palace between President Martelly and members of the private sector, a support committe was established by the President to assist the local committe for the 2012 National Carnival which will be held in the city of Les Cayes from the 19th to the 21st of February. The private sector committee is made of: William Eliacim of Rhum Barbancourt President, Ms. Josette Darguste, vice president, Sandra Beauvil, secretary, Norma Powell of BRANA, Assistant Secretary, Christophe Handal of MSC, treasurer, Albert Chancy, assistant treasurer, Reginald Delva, Jean Daniel Descollines and Harry Bazin, advisers. The sub-committees are: Albert Chancy (communication), Josette Darguste (public relations), Yanick G. Louis (artistic), Jean Carlo Fontin (finance), Claude Surena (emergency aid) Gessie Alkaal (musical floats) and Jean-Louis Liguens (logistics). All eyes are set on the South for the big event 2012 (JACMEL & LES CAYNES). ..
